The Black Sun Underworld PS3 MW2 Division is now closed. Lack of interest and commitment to the game has lead to the decision to close the division. CoD4 rolls The Joka's

The BS 360 CoD4 team has been on a steady roll as of late, unlike other teams you won't see them resetting due to an ugly loss or string of losses, they rather push on. Pushing on is what they've done and with new recruits, continued strong team work, and a focus on playing better they've reached #89 previously on the GB ladder. Whilst they are not at that same spot now they continue to do well so keep up the good work guys.

Killzowned

Saturday Feb. 28, 2009 marked an active day for the Black Sun Killzone 2 squad. With Killzone 2 being just released as of Friday, Feb. 27, 2009 Saturday was only the second full day the majority of the population has had to play the game. Black Sun took advantage of it and went to work. Our first practice, while not productive by any means, was to be held at 7:00 PM EST. The entire squad minus one attended which was a huge gathering for us and a great showing of our current activity and future things to come.

With the quick discussion and failure to come to terms about how to label the maps, more to come later, Black Sun took to playing. Read the results after the jump!

CoD4 2:1 (Videos!!!)

It has been alittle while since we've reported on the results of our 360 CoD4: Modern Warfare division, but that does not mean that they have not been busy. On the flip side they've probably been the most active division we have, bumping WaW from their throne in that department. More action from the 360 CoD4:Modern Warfare team. They continue to play the matches and increase their activity. BS CoD4 wins again

Quickly overtaking their counter-part, 360 CoD:WaW Division, the 360 CoD4:Modern Warfare team has come out of the gates running. With their most recent Gamebattles victory over ?Total-Kaos! the squad has moved its record to 3-1. The CoD4 team took their first loss on January 23, 2009 but regrouped, practices, discussed, came, and then conquered their new enemy only two days later. More after the jump. Read More

BS History

Black Sun Underworld's history started, May 15, 2005. The clan was created by FakorX/Omen and Fizzo. Reasons for the start of this clan are different between each of the original members. FakorX and Fizzo were Star Wars Battlefront Division heads in the former clan. FakorX and Fizzo had a different vision of where we should be heading. With that, Black Sun was born. FakorX and Fizzo not knowing how much the division stood behind them set forth to create the new clan. Little by little the entire Battlefront division joined Black Sun.

The biggest surprise in terms of people joining Black Sun was the addition of KillerCanadian. He was the person that really lit the fire in the division in that former clan. We did not know how much his loyalties were to the division, rather than that clan itself. We had plenty of arguments with the old clan as was expected. It is tough for any clan to lose so many members in just a few days time. With the birth of Black Sun we had close to 25 members and those numbers would soon grow as we were one of the 3 top clans in Star Wars Battlefront fighting for the top spot along with the likes of Clan RABiD and the Corellian Smugglers.

Black Sun has gone through many roster changes over the years and has suffered crushing blows that would make a lesser clan crumbled and disappear. Luckily for us all, Black Sun has a greater meaning to many that goes beyond the thought of just a simple 'gaming clan'. With that Black Sun is still standing proud and growing.

We are indeed looking for individuals who are loyal, and will stick with the clan for a long time to come. We do not admit people over night. You must be accepted into the clan after playing with us for some time. We recruit friends, not clan hoppers. While some may find our requirements challenging, demanding, or overboard for gamers we believe they are what has helped BS exist since 2005. The following are requirements: General Rules 1. No cheating, hacking, or glitching will be permitted in game outside of a private BS only match to be aware of the game issues that exist. 2. Mics are required by all members on console games. 3. Forum activity is required. Anyone who fails to login or post in a 10 day or more period will be moved to an inactive list. 4. No non-BS member may participate on any competitive BS squad or league roster. Team Structure and Command 1. The following is the command structure for BS: --- Leaders ---- Captains ----- Members ------ Recruits 2. Team Leaders have the final word on all things team related. 3. Captains are entirely responsible for their Squad and all questions or issues should be brought to the Captains attention before reaching the Team Leaders. Captains will have access to the Captains only forum to discuss any issues or concerns with Team Leaders and or Squads. Squad Captains are responsible for maintaining accurate squad rosters, maintaining updated Squad contact and name information, scheduling practices, and matches. Captains have the starting and final say in all games they participate in. 4. Members fill the core of the team. Players accepted as full members are not required to be on a competing squad to be listed as active in the team. All members should contact their Squad Captain with any information updates or status changes within the team concerning activity or the like. Member Tags Explanation – We feel the BS prefix in gamertags is an excellent way to demonstrate our loyalty to the clan and also promote the clan in public rooms. XBOX – BS tags for members are still required. New members need to update their tags within the first 30 days of clan membership. If a member is financially unable to afford to change their gamer tag they need to either talk to their squad leader or directly to fizzo to see if other arrangements can be made. PS3 – Due to sony’s messed up gamertag system the BS_ prefix is not required. However, we strongly encourage the BS_ prefix if it is at all possible. Any current member who may be purchasing a PS3 or setting up a master account for the first time is required to have the BS_prefix in their tag. Battle.net - All members will wear the BS_ tag beforet their name. This includes additional servers such as iCCup. Recruits/Recruiting 1. All applicants must be atleast 18 years of age. Anyone is welcome to hang out and play with BS members but applications will not be acceptedby anyone under 18 years of age. 2. Upon completion of a recruit completing an application on our website they will immediately be added to the BS roster including forum access and joining any ladder competition (ex. Gamebattles) that we are competing in. 3. The new recruit must complete an evaluation to be accepted to the team. During that time we reserve the right to dismiss the new member from the tribe. The new member also has the option to leave during that time if they do not feel that BS is a good fit for them. 3. New members are required to be on a competition squad. They need to fulfill the requirements of what it takes to be a “Squad Member” as defined in the new squad requirements below. All current BS members have earned the right over time to be a member of the clan. New members need to “pay their dues” to be part of the clan. (note: if a recruit is a personal friend of a current member or a transfer from one of our “friendly” clans they may be allowed to be exempt from the squad rule). 4. PS3 recruits will utilize "BSr" as their clan tag in games to represent they are recruits of BS. 5. Battle.net and additional Starcraft related recruits will be required to place "Black Sun Underworld Recruit" in their profile. Follow this link: Click Here For Link to apply for BS membership.
